Ray Romano & Brad Garrett Show
Saturday we went to see Ray Romano and Brad Garrett from the "Everybody Loves Raymond” show. The event was held at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix. My mother Carol attended the show with us. They had a large screen next to the stage that you could send a photo from your cell phone and it would be displayed for everyone in the theater to see. We naturally sent a photo of Wrigley.
The opening act for the show was Ray's friend on the show Givanni. He had some good jokes that warmed up the crowd. Ray Romano came on next. He was quite funny as usual. Many references were made about the comedy show and what went on during filming. A lot of his act was about his twin boys and his wife. He did about 45 minuets of comedy.
Brad Garrett followed Ray to the stage. Brad was the one who stole the show. Throughout his performance he made fun of just about every nationality in the theater. His humor was more raw and offensive, but that was what made it so entertaining. Throughout the performance he made fun out of a male nurse. Than he went after all nurses in general. We found this very funny since Mary is a nurse. We were laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes.
Once Brad was almost done Ray Romano came back on stage and they did a few bits together. They took questions from the audience and naturally made fun of the people asking the questions. To end the show the showed about 10 minutes of out-takes from the show. They had everyone rolling in there seat.
